Reading PDF document in HTC Titan 2

Reading PDF documents in your HTC Titan 2 is no big deal.. indeed! You’ll just need the Windows app Adobe Reader for this. It is a 5 mb Adobe Reader app which you’ll need to download and install into your phone. And that is for free of cost.

To read the PDF of your choice, you have to open the Adobe reader application. On opening, you can see 2 pages: Recently Viewed and Documents. The later one lists all the PDF docs available in your HTC Titan 2. And you are simply required to select the one of your choice.

Upon opening the doc, you get 2 options for modes in which you can view the document: Continuous and Single Page.  Continuous mode lets you view the whole doc without any page break, whereas in Single Page, you can view the doc page-wise.

In addition to this, you search the word or phrase with the search button. For search button and view modes to be visible, you have to tap at the top of the screen.

This app also allows you to zoom-in and zoom-out of the pages with 2 finger touch. Another useful feature of this app is Bookmark, which allows you to bookmark pages within the document.

HTC Titan 2 Reviews

Need to check reviews for HTC Titan 2?

Here are some reviews from the well-known masters:

engadget:
"Overall, we have very few qualms with the HTC Titan II. Despite its clumsier design, it certainly has more to offer than its predecessor, which was already considered a great phone when it was released on AT&T a scant five months ago (six months if you count the European launch). But is there any reason to fork out $200 for a Windows Phone that has roughly the same feature set as the less expensive Nokia Lumia 900, which is getting subsidized beyond our wildest dreams? Unless you're a camera enthusiast, we think your money could be put to better use elsewhere."

CNET: http://reviews.cnet.com/smartphones/htc-titan-ii-at/4505-6452_7-35117968.html
"The HTC Titan II pushes the limit of just how big and capable a Windows smartphone can be. If it weren't for the lower-priced Nokia Lumia 900, the Titan II would be the greatest Windows Phone 7 handset to walk the earth."

TechCrunch:
"But the screen resolution vs. size thing really bothers me, and I truly wish that HTC’s Sense camera app was interacting with the 16-megapixel hardware, especially since that camera is one of the phone’s big selling features. Those things are somewhat excusable, but when you lop on a fat body and poor battery life (likely the most crucial feature in any phone), it’s nearly impossible for me to recommend this device."

GSMArena:
"the HTC Titan II will have a serious challenge making it in today's market. Does the newcomer have enough to face the competition? Read on to find out. As always, we'll kick things off with an unboxing, followed by design and build quality inspection."

PCWorld:
"The HTC Titan 2 is the largest phone I've reviewed, and it definitely has its charms. Yes, the screen is fuzzy at times, and the video recording may not be the best, but the Titan 2's LTE connectivity and excellent picture-taking capabilities more than make up for those faults. If you think the phone is too big (and some people may feel that way), I recommend looking at the Nokia Lumia 900 instead; its camera may not be as good, but it will still give you a nice, big helping of Windows Phone goodness."
